About Empowered Care Advocacy
MyStory
Amy Quinn is a dedicated patient advocate, using her firsthand experiences to guide others through the complexities of the healthcare system. From her own breast cancer experience and her mother’s challenges with heart disease to her youngest daughter’s mental health treatment path and her father’s journey with Parkinson’s, she understands the emotional and logistical struggles patients and families face.
Amy specializes in effective communication with providers, ensuring that patients fully understand their diagnoses and treatment options. She is skilled in navigating medical billing, insurance issues, helping individuals avoid unnecessary stress and confusion. Beyond logistics, Amy provides compassionate support, empowering patients to advocate for themselves, ask the right questions, and make informed healthcare decisions. Her passion lies in making the healthcare experience more accessible, less overwhelming, and centered on patient needs.

How it works
Contact me for an initial consultation to understand your goal of these services. We will then schedule a comprehensive review of your concerns, medical history and goals. This will include a review of diagnoses, medications and providers - please come prepared! This appointment can be up to 3 hours. From this meeting, I will develop an action plan focused on achieving your goals and a proposal for services.

Assessment: $175
Engagements: hourly fees, based on types of services provided
